TAMPA, Florida - (AP) - The Florida Supreme Court has disbarred a
former judge whose esteemed legal career ended amid accusations
about his involvement with a stripper.
According to an order entered Thursday, Thomas E. Stringer has
been disbarred for the next five years. The former appeals court
judge resigned in February after a stripper claimed he helped her
evade creditors by putting her money in his bank accounts.
The Judicial Qualifications Commission dropped its ethics
complaint after he stepped down.
In August, Stringer pleaded guilty to bank fraud. Prosecutors
say Stringer falsified his mortgage application for a home in
Hawaii. He had listed himself as the sole owner, even though he was
jointly investing in the house with the exotic dancer.
Stringer will be sentenced in November.

No- actually the judge ruined his own career…can’t blame every bad element and temptation out there for being a demon.  You are supposed to hold yourself to a higher standard.

wish I was a Judge, or a cop!

Judges are being caught. we are capable of judging ourselves. We do it daily. Throw the bums out!The Bar assoc. is a private organization anyway. Oh wait, that’s right private but necessary to be a member to practice law. This criminal association has developed a monopoly on this area of human knowledge. Using multiple definitions for english words spoken daily. Some of these words may have up to four different definitions and each one is to be used within the context at hand. There is a design and purpose for this , it is to keep the regular schmuck from being able to know the law and how it applies to him , so he cannot become an active participant in his own governing. The Bar Assoc. truy a criminal racket.

Meant to type “higher standard” - brain got ahead of my fingers!

He’s lucky he wasn’t disbarred for life - he should be held to a higher stand since he is an “expert” on the law. What an idiot!!! And she will be drop him like a bad habit as soon as the $$ stops.

Wow…judges are having a hard time of it lately aren’t they? smile
