Court documents reveal what investigators found in a vehicle owned by one of the seven men charged with the murders of Byrd and Melanie Billings.Investigators seized two black stocking caps, a pair of black gloves, four 12-gauge shot gun shells and numerous other items from a tan, Ford Explorer owned by 28-year-old Donald Stallworth.
The affidavit attached to the search warrant was sealed by Circuit Judge Terry Terrell.
Stallworth is being held without bond in the Escambia County Jail in Brewton. Alabama Governor Bob Riley must sign an extradition order before he can be sent to Florida.
The Billings were murdered during a home invasion July 9th at their home in Beulah. Nine of their special needs children were home at the time. Seven people have been charged with murder. An eighth has been charged with being an accessory after the fact. Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan says they expect to make at least one more arrest.
