Road Closures Around Eglin AFB For Test Flights

Florida Eglin Air Force Base Highways 85 123 and 285 will be closed for an hour on Tuesday (September 29) for the safety of driver during test flights.

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Florida - Anyone who drives past Eglin Air Force Base during the morning commute might want to find an alternative route next Tuesday.

Highways 85, 123, and 285 will be closed for about an hour on September 29, between 8 and 10 a.m., during test flights.

Eglin AFB says the closure will occur only when absolutely necessary.
