The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who robbed the Regions Bank at 6677 N. Davis Hwy in Pensacola.Deputies received an alarm from the bank around 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. A few minutes later, bank employees called to say they had just been robbed.
Witnesses say the bank robber ran south on Davis Hwy. A K-9 deputy tracked the suspect, but eventually lost his scent when deputies believe the man got into a vehicle.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'10", with short brown hair. He's armed with a black, semi automatic handgun and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt.
The bank's surveillance cameras caught the robbery on tape.
