The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for the driver behind a deadly hit and run accident.

According to troopers, William Buckley was crossing Olive Road, just east of Whitmire Drive, in Pensacola around 9 p.m. Tuesday when he was hit by an SUV. The driver never stopped. Buckley was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.

Troopers say the SUV was a blueish/green or teal colored, 1995-98 Ford Explorer. It should have damage to the front grill, bumper, hood and windshield.
