11:31 a.m.
Police have arrested the mother of two Gulf Breeze High School students for showing up at her kids' school with guns.

According to police, the woman walked into the school this morning and and made a complaint. She then went back out to her car, followed by a school resource officer.

Police say the mother started to put on a trench coat and put a gun in her pocket. After a brief struggle, the school resource officer was able to handcuff her.
A second gun was found in her truck.

Police are not sure why the mother had the weapons or what she planned on doing with them. Today is the 10th anniversary of the Columbine High school massacres when two seniors killed 12 students and a teacher.

There’s a school out west (Ariz. perhaps) that was quite remote to any law enforcement agencies.  As a Columbine type deterrence, the school board/and principle have authorized “some” of their staff to legally arm themselves with concealed weapons.  Outside of law enforcement, only a very few know who actually is/isn’t armed.

Unfortunately, I’ve never heard of any followups to this story.  Perhaps that means that it’s working as intended.

What do you all think?

This is sad, but easy to do. The question is ....Are you going to upgrade the protection of our children? Or hang Grandma out to dry?

grannys got a gun, look what her .38 has done. she knew when she pulled up at school, that with her butcher knife she would rule, but when she was taken down ez ,her trench coat got all greasy, now she looks a littly freaky… all those drugs i did in school i’m having an Aerosmith flashback!!! help me weird Al!!!!

I am a junior football player at GBHS and i saw the whole situation go down. The worst thing about the whole ordeal was the fact that The principle came on the school TV and said there was never any threat(which there was a video directed towards freshmen athletes) and the school never went on lockdown. there could have been more people involved. the old lady also said ” 100 kids will die today!”. It was creepy…

Fox, wasn’t talking about you yet, but keep up the crazy talk about vague story and maybe you get on my list….haha

Wait, which fox are you calling crazy?

I’m also inclined to believe that this story is quite vague and open to speculation as to what really happened.

with all those guns she has , she more than likely jacked them!

Check out those kicks!  I wonder if she stole those?

now we have some facts to work with, granny is nuts!

Crazy as a fox, a gray fox.
