Milton Police Search For Fake Cop

Florida Milton Police say the man reportedly impersonated a law enforcement officer and sexually assaulted a woman.

MILTON, Florida - MILTON, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in north Florida are searching
for man who reportedly impersonated a law enforcement officer and
sexually assaulted a woman.
Milton Police Chief Greg Brand says the woman told investigators
that she was assaulted Thursday night. Brand says the man, who
wasn't wearing a uniform or driving a marked cruiser, "portrayed
himself" as a police officer and offered to give the female
pedestrian a ride.
Brand said the man reportedly assaulted the woman by a city
park.
The woman was treated at a hospital.

And I bet she wouldn’t have been an alleged victim of a crime if she didn’t just “take someones word” that they were a cop too. Not driving a marked car-does that mean he was in a police type car,or an Accord? Not in uniform? “Portrayed” himself as an officer,meaning WHAT? At night? HELLO!

Granted,if she was assaulted it was not deserved-but come on-think smart! The way this story is written leaves a lot of questions as far as I am concerned.

Yet another reason for people to carry firearms. I would bet she’d not be a victim of such a crmie had this been the case, and there’d be one less rapist in the world for to prey upon you child,mother,wife , or sister.

If they don’t know who he is, how do they know he was impersonating a cop? He may be a real cop.
