Man Who Locked Up Son Gets 9 Years

Florida Jacksonville A judge sentences a Florida father to nine years for keeping his son locked in a bedroom for much of his life.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A judge says a Jacksonville father who
kept his 9-year-old son locked in a bedroom for much of his life
should spend nine years in prison himself.
Circuit Judge Mallory Cooper sentenced Randall Warren Piercy,
44, on Friday. Piercy had pleaded guilty to aggravated child abuse.
During a day of testimony Piercy's wife, who is also charged
with child abuse, testified she and her husband both were victims
of childhood sexual abuse and that left them extremely protective
of their son.
Piercy told the judge that cameras monitored her son and that
her husband used the intercom to let him know when he could come
out of his bedroom to eat. He ate alone at the dining room table
monitored by two more cameras.

AMEN to this Judge, now if the DOC will enforce her ruling it will be great. Too bad they cannot put him in the exact room that poor child has been in and have him pee in a bottle…. And as for the mother, oh no that thing is a piece of work. She should be placed in solitary with no one to talk to, nothing to read or watch, just a dark, cold, damp and isolated cell with the minimum food and water showed in through a hole. I bet you we would find out that this mother and this sperm donor are not near as tough as they have pretended to be over their own child. I bet it would only take a few weeks before they went crazy or psychotic…. An Eye for an Eye, a Mind for a Mind. JMO

Father and Mother are both equally guility of this horrible crime against that child. She can say what she wants but there is no WAY a man could make me mistreat my child. He had to go to sleep sometime and she could have taken that child and left with him. She is no better than he is. Hope she gets time also because they didnt say anything about what is going to happen to her. Hopefully the child is given to someone who will give him a great home and life..PLEASE do not give this child back to either parents!!!! Nine years is to short a sentence for them both….

Oh my goodness! Being molested as a child has nothing to do with this type of behavior of a so called parent. What did locking this son in a bedroom do besides make the child have mental problems. Where is the other family members at? No questioning from them about where our why the child was locked up? Things just don’t make since these days. Nine years will never take away the fact that this little boy has lost most of his childhood in one room. But, thank you for punishing him for the horrible meanness! I believe in protecting our children from harm, but I think there are other ways of doing so instead of this silly mess.
