Man Wanted For Robbing Publix Pharmacy

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted for stealing prescription painkillers from a Publix pharmacy in Destin.

According to deputies, the man seen in the surveillance photos on the right walked into the Publix on Commons Drive around 12:15 p.m. on January 29. He hopped over the counter at the pharmacy, told the clerk he had a gun, then took several bottles of Hydrocodone and put them in a black gym bag.

The suspect is described as a muscular white male, approximately 6’0” tall, wearing a dark toboggan knit cap, a grey hooded Yankees sweatshirt, dark colored cargo shorts and tennis shoes.
