Man Swallows Stolen Earrings

Florida Stolen Police say William Colburn swallowed the earrings when he was caught by a security guard. The earrings show up on an X-Ray.

NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - Police in southwest Florida say an
18-year-old man swallowed a pair of earrings after stealing them
from a store at a Naples mall.
Naples Police said Monday that an X-ray showed the stolen
earrings inside William Colburn. Authorities say he faces charges
of retail theft, tampering with evidence and possession of
marijuana.
Colburn was in a JCPenney on Saturday when authorities say a
store security spotted him take earrings out of a box and drop them
into a bottle of water. Police say he then left the store without
paying for the merchandise and went into the mall.
When a security officer approached Colburn and began walking him
back to the store's security office, authorities say Colburn drank
the water and swallowed the earrings.

I wonder how many morons’ girlfriends are walking around with earrings that were once in their boyfriends’ bowels.

He swallowed a pair of $5-$10 earrings, had an x-ray that was probably around $200 or more to see if he had actually had stolen them, paid an officer to arrest him, officer to book him etc., pay a judge to hear his case and unless he coughs up…oops craps out the earrings, they have no actual evidence to convict him of that. While he was getting the x-ray, they should have popped him full of enemas until he pooped them out. I wonder how many morons read or heard this on the news and are going to do this next.
