ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Universal Orlando officials say anexperienced stunt performer was injured at Universal's Islands of
Adventure when he missed a mark.
A Universal spokesman says the actor was performing in the
Eighth Voyage of Sindbad show Friday when he slid down a rope from
the main stage toward a platform made to look like a ship.
The man was conscious and talking when he was taken to a
hospital, but his official condition wasn't immediately known. He
has been performing in the show since the park opened a decade ago.
The spokesman says the show will not reopen until the reason for
the accident is determined.
No guests were hurt.
