Man Convicted For Infant’s Death

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - A Pensacola man has been convicted of
killing his former girlfriend's infant son.
A jury found 39-year-old Adrian Scott guilty Friday of
second-degree murder. Prosecutors say Scott shook the infant and
slammed him on the floor in August 2002 while the child's mother
was in the shower. He child was rushed to a hospital, where he was
pronounced brain dead and taken off life support two days later.
Scott had been convicted of first-degree murder for the child's
death in 2005, but that conviction was overturned.
Scott faces possible life in prison.

I wish they would take him up to a hardcore correctional facility and turn him loose in GP and let the ruin his life. Then put two behind his left ear. Piece of trash.

How could anyone have thought that he should have gotten a less harsh sentence. From the description of what he did, it seems to me it was very violent. Shaking the baby is bad enough, but SLAMMING it on the floor makes it very clear that his intention was to kill the baby and in a very horrific way. I know there is many other disgusting and unacceptable ways to commit this crime, but when it is someone such as an infant who can not defend itself no matter how the tragedy occurs it is still deserving of nothing less than the person never seeing the light of day. IMO, should not be able to live.
