Majority Of Floridians Support Gay Adoptions

Florida Poll A recent poll shows over half of respondants are OK with adoption but when it comes to gay marriage the numbers differ.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - A majority of Floridians believe it is
OK for gays and lesbians to adopt children.
A Quinnipiac University poll of 1,370 Floridians showed 55
percent favor doing away with a state law that prohibits gays from
adopting compared to 39 percent who want to keep the ban. Democrats
and independent voters were in the majority favoring of eliminating
the ban while Republicans and white evangelical Christians
supported the law.
But only 27 percent said gays should be allowed to marry while
35 percent favored civil unions and 31 percent said there should be
no legal recognition of gay unions.
Quinnipiac's poll released Thursday has an error rate of plus or
minus 2.7 percentage points.

I want to make it clear before I say what I am about to say, everyone knows that I know I am not better than anyone else on this planet which includes Gays & Lesbian. We all will stand before God on judgement day & be judged as an individual. Romans 1:26-1:32 talks about homosexuality & how it is not the way God intended. Have you ever heard Sodom and Gomorrah? God destoyed them for homosexuality. & don’t come complaining to me about whatever take it up w/ God Because the Bible said it first. I know that my comment will be deleted but, this is just what I know it is right. & I am by no means be hateful!

Here is how I look at it as far as lesbians. I know a couple of lesbian couples that did this. They tried to adopt and of course was denied or whatever. So one would find a guy that she either knew well and agreed to relations or one that she got to know for a couple of weeks and made it a point to have relations with him during her ovualtion. Then bam she was pregnant. Never spoke or saw him again. Now the couple have a baby. So meanwhile the child that would have been adopted is still WAITING to be adopted because they found their own means. Poor child could have had a family.
