Sailor Killed On Christmas Day Not From Florida

Florida Pensacola  The Department Of Defense originally said the 19-year-old sailor killed in Bahrain was from Pensacola.

The Department of Defense made a correction to information about a sailor killed in Bahrain, Christmas Day.
They know says 19-year-old Joshua D. Seitz is from Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania.
It had been reported that Seitz was from Pensacola, Florida.
Tuesday a release on the Department of Defense website was updated to reflect the new information.


Monday
Nineteen-year-old Joshua D. Seitz, of Pensacola, Fla., died Christmas day according to the Department of Defense. Seitz was in Manama, Bahrain assigned to Naval Security Force, Naval Support Activity Bahrain. According to a Bahrain newspaper, the Gulf News Daily, Seitz died in an accident at Mina Salman port. The newspaper says he died from injuries sustained during a collision between the patrol boat he was on and a barge moored in the harbour at 11 p.m. local time. The Gulf Daily News also reports that two of Seitz's colleagues were injured as well but their injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

thats pretty astute bob, good catch. woudlnt it be really whacky if someone corellated the times and found out they both did whatever they did at the same time.

yes it has, i just heard it on the news. they say they have a video tape of her falling.

Last report I saw said she and her husband lived in Florida.  I heard Houston this morning, but that must have changed.

good thinking bamabob, except i thought the woman was from texas. could be i am wrong.

I don’t guess there is any connection between this young man and the Jennifer Seitz missing from the cruise ship, is there?  Kind of odd they would share that surname and both be from Florida.
