The Escambia County Sheriff's Office says a man wanted for murder killed himself after being stopped by law enforcement officers.
Investigators say, 38-year-old, Jeremy Blade shot himself Tuesday night.
Sheriff's deputies were trying to take Blade in to custody when they say he pulled out a gun and shot himself.
Blade had been named as a suspect in a homicide earlier in the day.
It is believed he shot and killed a woman in the 800 Block of Johnson Ave.
News earlier in the evening alerted viewers to the possibility that Blade was driving the victims, silver, Dodge Pick-up truck.
The Sheriff's Office says a citizen who had seen the news spotted the vehicle and called 911.
The citizen stayed behind the truck until marked units arrived.
Deputies say Blade refused to pull over for them, resulting in a short pursuit concluding at the dead end of Burgess Rd off Highway 29.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office says deputies ordered Blade out of the vehicle and that's when he shot himself.
Blade was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency medical responders.

Is this about the young woman that was found in that field a few days ago, or is there another victim out there?

Good Job!
