FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida - Teresa Dille checked her daughter Kaylie out of school early Monday.
"Lot of butterflies," says Dille. "Getting the house ready, we baked a cake for him that says welcome home, we're just really excited."
After all, it was a special occasion. Kaylie's father, Staff Sgt. Ryan Dille was coming home after serving three months in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
"I miss when he says goodnight to me," says Kaylie.
When the plane touched down and came to a stop, Kaylie spotted her father and ran into his arms.
"It feels great," says Ryan Dille. "I missed them, I'm excited to see them! She keeps getting bigger and bigger!"
More than 150 airmen were reunited with family and friends...a special homecoming these heroes will never forget.
