OKALOOSA ISLAND, Fla. (AP) - Fire officials say two peoplesuffered minor injuries when a Greyhound bus caught fire on a
highway as it headed toward Orlando.
Okaloosa Island Fire Lt. Bob Tilley says 55 people were on board
Wednesday night when the fire started somewhere in the engine
compartment.
The two people who were injured were taken to Fort Walton Beach
Medical Center.
Passengers reported hearing a loud boom before the cabin quickly
filled with smoke.
The Northwest Florida Daily News reported that the other 53 passengers were taken to the Destin Community Center to wait for another bus.
