TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - A new national study says Florida's roads are
better than most states.
The survey from The Road Information Program and the American
Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials places
Florida third in the nation for the quality of its roads, tied with
Montana.
It's outranked only by Georgia and Nevada.
A researcher who performed the study says the absence of
widespread freeze and thaw cycles in Florida gives it an advantage
over many other states.
