PENSACOLA, Florida - Pensacola Police are still trying to figure out who hit an elderly woman in a parking lot and drove off. It happened around 5 Thursday night at the Fisher-Brown Insurance Agency on West Garden Street. Police believe it's possible the driver didn't even know they hit 87-year-old Rita Finneran. Her co-workers are hoping and praying she makes a full recovery so she can come back to the office where she has worked for more than 60 years, "to the credit of our people, a couple of them stepped forward and said, you know, I backed out of my parking place at approximately that time, could I have done it? You know, they want to know and the police looked at their vehicles, looked at a number of our vehicles in the parking lot trying to find any kind of physical evidence that would indicate okay this possibly is the car but been unable to determine," said Fisher-Brown, Inc. President, Alan Moore. If you have any information about the case, call Pensacola Police at (850) 435-1900.
