A Pensacola Church is taking the Easter egg hunt to the next level. How about dropping 20,000 thousand plastic eggs from a helicopter? That's what members of the Flamingo Road Church did this morning at Pensacola's Memorial Park. Thousands gathered around the park to snag their chance at some big prizes. The church was giving away video game systems and flat-screen TVs among the hundreds of eggs.“Just a regular egg hunt wouldn't have been good enough for us so we wanted to do something that was going to excite the community, so we decided drop the eggs out of a helicopter, why not,” says Pastor Raul Palacios with a smile. The pastor says this is the church's chance to introduce itself to the community. Flamingo Road Church will open its 7th campus in Pensacola tomorrow morning at 10:30 with an Easter service. The Florida-based ministry has other locations around the sunshine state.
