It was a busy Fourth of July for Escambia County Florida Sheriff's deputies. Within that 24 hour period deputies made 25 arrests and towed almost twice as many vehicles on Pensacola Beach alone.

Deputies say the charges ranged from Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer to Traffic Offenses. Around 50 vehicles were towed for various violations including one owner who got their vehicle out of the tow lot, proceeded to park the vehicle illegally again only to be towed a second time.

Fortunately, no major incidents or injuries were reported.

It’s hard to have enough parking to accommodate such large crowds that they have on Pensacola
Beach. They make arrangements for this, but there are always those that don’t follow the rules. Let’s hope that the police presents will help them choose to go elsewhere. They are not wanted or needed!!!!

If tourism is to be the life blood of this town ,people will not want to come to a place without adequate parking and having the police all over them. They will choose to vacation elsewhere. When the parasite overwhelms the host both shall perish.
