It was a busy Fourth of July for Escambia County Florida Sheriff's deputies. Within that 24 hour period deputies made 25 arrests and towed almost twice as many vehicles on Pensacola Beach alone.Deputies say the charges ranged from Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer to Traffic Offenses. Around 50 vehicles were towed for various violations including one owner who got their vehicle out of the tow lot, proceeded to park the vehicle illegally again only to be towed a second time.
Fortunately, no major incidents or injuries were reported.
