MIAMI (AP) - The Coast Guard is searching the waters off Florida
for a cruise ship employee who reportedly fell overboard.
The Coast Guard says the man's co-workers on the Carnival
Sensation reported him falling overboard around 1 a.m. Thursday.
A jet, two helicopters and two patrol boats were searching the
waters about 20 miles east of Vero Beach for the man. The cruise
ship was also assisting in the search.
Carnival Corp., the world's largest cruise operator, is based in
Miami. The Carnival Sensation makes three and four-day cruises to
the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral on the east coast of central
Florida.

I think I would be nervous if one of my ex-wives invited me to go on a cruise.  That is getting right up there with going hunting with your worst enemy!

someone needs to tell folks you only get off the boat when you are in port/ this is getting too familiar and too frequent

I was thinking the same thing Dew26M.  It seems more and more people are falling overboard from these cruise ships…. Makes you wonder who regulates these ships.  I seems to me that even though they may be registeres under other countries that if they port in the USA and take passengers from those ports, who are American Citizens that the USA authorities should have some way to regulate these boats.

2 people fell from 2 cruise ships in less than a week? Seems to me like they may need to install higher guardrails!
