ATLANTA (AP) - The federal appeals court in Atlanta says a woman
who took part in sexually explicit contests at a Daytona Beach,
Fla., hotel two months shy of her 18th birthday cannot sue over
Internet images of her, even though she was a minor.
According to court documents, Julie Amanda Tilton participated in two wet T-shirt contests observed by 300 to 400 people, many
with video cameras, at The Desert Inn during spring break in March
2001.
A federal judge rejected Tilton's claim she was a sexually
exploited minor, saying she failed to prove the photos harmed her.
A three-judge panel upheld that ruling Thursday but reversed denial
of attorney fees to Tilton from a photographer.

Bob, you are making my husband crack up. He loved your comment re: Pelletier. I still don’t get how he got any of that artificial turf. That roll was huge!!!

Shouldn’t there be a full length video attached, so that we could get a better idea about this egregious crime?

Yeah, note all the guys holding up cameras…

are we suppose to feel sorry for her?

I’m glad she can’t sue, she knew what she was getting into when she went down there and its her own fault.  I really can’t stand people not taking the blame for their own actions and then try to put the blame on something or someone else.  In today’s society, you would have to be extremely naive to think that you can go and do what she did and think that NO ONE beyond the people she was around would see this.

BamaBob

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you just for being you, I love your posts, they are always classy and right on the money.

As a society,we have grown so far from self respect, morals couth, class and style. The sad part is it’s only bound to get worse because there are never any consequences.

I am not a prude by no means, but I raised my daughters to use their minds not their bodies to get what they want or need.

Oh and….. I also threatened to break both their legs if I ever caught them doing anything like this…;)

Rape?  We wonder why there is so much of it when girls act like this?  Where i live we call this white trash (Ho) parents teach your children better than this They deserve that much..

Did she show top and bottom? If just top, what is the big deal.

Seems like her parents were negligent in supervising her. I wonder if the statute of limitations has run out on suing them for neglect?

Just what did mom and dad think their daughter was going to do in FL with thousands of other teens and adults ogling them?

Welcome to the world of accountability.
