Pensacola police have released surveillance photos of a robber who was punched in the face by a convenience store clerk.

According to police, the robbery suspect went to the Majik Market around 6:00 a.m. Monday and pretended he was buying a 20-ounce soft drink. When the clerk opened the register, the robber reached over the counter and tried to grab a fist full of cash.

The clerk grabbed the robber by his shirt and punched him in the face. The robber ran out of the store without any cash.

If you recognize the man in the surveillance photos, please call Pensacola Police at 850.435.1900.

i have been fishing all my life down here, never gutted me one that was full of cash. i just might be incline to grab me one ifin i was to see one myself.

someone should invent a taser that can be mounted in front of the cash register that can be used in robberies, would make a fortune!

hurray for the clerk, but that was a dangerous thing to do

o big deal. when i was 16 i work @ a drug store someone attempted to robbed us on Christmas Day the other cashier picked up the guy & slammed him against the door & broke it.

Oh, my face!

LMAO Epic fail.  And awesome comment, db.

You left out the part about being able to identify the robber by the strange seafood-smell in his pocket from the “fish full of cash” that he grabbed!  wink
