CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for amissing scuba diver in the waters off Clearwater.
The 29-year-old diver was reported missing Saturday afternoon
about 21 miles west of John's Pass.
According to the Coast Guard, the man was an experienced diver.
He did not surface after a diver from the 24-foot vessel Lori's
Other Half. His name was not immediately released.
The Coast Guard has dispatched a HH-60 Jayhawk rescue
helicopter, a 47-foot utility boat and an 87-foot patrol boat to
search for the diver.
