Chickasaw Civic Theater (CCT) has added a special summer musical, the Tony award-winning URINETOWN. It will run at the theater on Iroquois St. July 31 and August 1, 2, & 3. URINETOWN is a musical comedy satire that looks at the evils of big goverment and big business in a fictional town faced with a drought. The show will be directed by Tommy Alsip, a senior in musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. The large cast includes Tjaden O'Dowd (James Madison Univ.) and Lindsay Lum (Univ. of Alabama) as well as local actors Christopher Spencer, Buffi Peter, and Steve Alsip. The curtain will rise at 7:30 PM Thursday thru Saturday, July 31- August 2, and at 2 PM for the Sunday matinee August 3. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors (60+).
