The 10th Annual Habitat for Humanity Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, May 9th, 2008. This 1:00 p.m. shotgun start tournament will be held at Cypress Bend Golf Course at Craft Farms in Gulf Shores. The cost for the 4 person scramble is $100 per player which includes, golf, cart, prizes and food following play. Each year, Realty Executives Gulf Coast organizes this signature event to raise funds for the Baldwin County Habitat for Humanity Affiliate. This year’s title sponsor is Armbrecht Jackson, LLP. Habitat for Humanity is ecumenical housing ministry working to end substandard housing in Baldwin County. Families selected must put in 400 hours of sweat equity, pay a $500 down payment, attend budgeting and homeowner workshops, and be willing to partner with Habitat. When the home is completed, the partner family has a manageable mortgage payment due to a no interest loan. Habitat will soon begin its 68th home.
