been reported in Madison County, the fourth case of the
mosquito-borne disease reported by the Mississippi State Health
Department this year.
Previously reported cases were in Lincoln, Forrest and Madison
counties. The health agency reports both confirmed and probable
cases of the disease.
Symptoms may include fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, a rash,
muscle weakness or swollen lymph nodes.
Infection can cause encephalitis or meningitis in a small number
of people. Those illnesses can lead to paralysis, coma and possibly
death.

It will probbly be a record year for the virus due to all the flooding further up north and showing up where never seen before.
