D.O., you may assume tht God created us to have dominion over animals, but I do not believe such horse sh#$. I dont have to elaborate. We have destroyed a world that existed without our modern ways of life for 4.6 billion years, in less than 100. Pathetic.

It’s not an assumption, it’s my opinion.  A “Creationist” huh?  The world never ceases to amaze me at the terms that are created.  (Shaking my head in awe)

God created MAN first and then all of the animals and gave us DOMINION over them. (So we are special) Animal rights activists seem to have warped our idea of the way things were meant to be.  As far as humans being bitten by alligators and such, does that not usually happen when someone is trespassing in their natural habitat??  Animals were never created to eat MAN but other animals.  I will never consider myself to be part of the food chain.  Animal attacks on humans are usually a result of human error (being in the wrong place at the wrong time).  Now, do we really need to have such an in-depth discussion on a catfish choking on a soccer ball???  I’m sure there are more interesting things going on than this.

Determined one, did anyone eat that catfish after it choked on a soccerball? If not, its a life wasted. Did you ever stop to think that we are all part of the food chain. That includes humans. Yet when we are bitten by an alligator, attacked by a bear, or attacked by a shark, everyone gasps and says “Oh how horrible, what an evil thing to happen, blah, blah, blah” Forget the fact that many animals in the wild are carnivores and to them we serve as food. No, I guess we are above that. We arent in the food chain because we are special. Yet we are the only species that threatens the world in which we live.

No, I think ALL animals are meant only for companionship (I’m a vegetarian), I was making a point.
