LOS ANGELES (AP) - Nearly two in three Americans say news
organizations have given too much coverage to the death of Michael
Jackson, but half say the media have struck the right balance
between covering the pop star's personal life and musical career.
In a Pew Research Center poll published Wednesday, 64 percent of
those surveyed said Jackson's death last week in Los Angeles has
received too much coverage, 29 percent said the story received the
right amount and 3 percent said the story got too little attention.
Thirty percent said they followed the story very closely, though
that number jumped to 80 percent among blacks, according to the
independent public opinion research group.
Pew interviewed about 1,000 adults for the poll, which has a
margin of error of plus-or-minus 3.5 percentage points.

Michael Jackson was born
a poor black boy
and died
a rich white woman.

The end of a legacy.

he’s not dead during the service he will rise to the music of thriller

Closed casket!?!? I was disappointed. Now I think he’s going the Elvis route. THE KING OF POP IS NOT REALLY DEAD!

I think they even mentioned that during his memorial. Well not at the actual memorial but people who were covering it.

Ok, since nobody has said it, and since I’m not very PC I guess I will. Those kids were NOT fathered by MJ. Ck the facts, it’s been documented that there was another man whose semen was used. Or you could just look at the kids themselves. No other comment from me on the MJ subject, I’m done. (wish the networks were)

Yeah I heard that the city put out millions to do this memorial. Which means even the people that did not attend and get that “golden ticket” paid for it anyway. Then they are going to tell the city that anyone who does not have a ticket or wrist band needs to just stay at home and watch it.

Well, they undoubtedly didn’t poll any of the people in Mobile… they would have found that 3 out of every 3 people have had enough of this manure.

Oh, did you here how much this has cost the City of Los Angeles… the city that is B-R-O-K-E… I think the figure was 4 million…

That should be charged back to this freak’s estate.  The public shouldn’t have to pay for this.

they have been beating this dead horse for about 2 weeks now, i do believe he’s dead!

Okay the funeral we’ve seen enough!

Who cares about this head case?  He was an insane child molester.  I’d rahter hear more about Billy Mays.
