MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (AP) - An outside investigation has found
that an Ohio public school teacher taught creationism in his
science class and used a device to burn the image of a cross on
students' arms.
One family filed a federal lawsuit against Mount Vernon Middle
School teacher John Freshwater and the school district last week,
saying their child was left with a burn mark for three or four
weeks.
The report also says Freshwater was insubordinate in failing to
remove a Bible and other religious materials from his classroom.
The findings released Thursday by consulting firm H.R. On Call
Inc. were to be discussed Friday at a school board meeting.
A message seeking comment was left for Freshwater's attorney,
Roger Weaver.

See, ok how come nobody is freaking out? That was a “horribly insensitive” comment. Why does Mercedes get to say this kinda stuff, and everybody freaks out on me?

Have public schools really gotten this bad? Sounds to me the class is full of child vampires, and he was using the cross the make them keep their distance. No wonder he didn’t want anyone to remove his religious artifacts, those were the only things that could protect him from these vampires! Maybe next time he will think twice before accepting a job teaching a night class at a middle school.
