PRICEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - The Priceville Junior High PTO presidenthas been released from jail on bond after being charged with
contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Morgan County sheriff's deputies arrested 48-year-old Nancy Dee
Davis Monday. A warrant for her arrest was issued last spring after
a parent said Davis gave alcohol to a 13-year-old in March.
Superintendent Bob Balch said Davis is a substitute teacher at
Priceville Junior High and president of the Parent Teacher
Organization.
Chief Deputy Mike Corley said the arrest stemmed from a sworn
affidavit by a parent. The affidavit was issued April 18.
Davis was released from the county jail on $300 bail Monday, the
same day she was arrested.
Balch said he has notified the school board's attorney of the
arrest and is waiting for advice on how to proceed.
