Tillman’s Corner Shooting

11:25 a.m. Thursday
The shooting happened early Tuesday morning at an abandoned trailer park.
Mobile police say 38-year-old Jeffrey Hunter shot 48-year-old Reginald Williams twice in upper back and shoulder with a .380 highpoint semi automatic.
Hunter is charged with assault.

4:01 a.m. Wednesday
One person was shot early this morning in the Tillman's Corner area. It happened around 2:45am in the 5600 block of Jackson Road near Highway 90. Mobile Fire-Rescue Department transported the person to USA Medical Center. Police have not released any further details of the incident. The person's identity has also not been released.

why the mobile police is not releasing any info on this shooting? are the covering up something?

yes jackson rd runs into the service road by tacobell i lived on jackson till a month ago .. there is like 15 houses and like 3 trailer parks back there and apartments ,, jackson is between tacobell and carquest off service rd

Ahhhh. Not familiar with the area, sorry just curious. It is a good point wanting to know if it was a home or a business, it would seem like there would be A LOT MORE INFO if this occured at a business.

I doubt there is any Taco Bell connection. I’m just using it as a landmark. I think Jackson Rd runs parallel to that Taco Bell and perpendicular to the 90 service road. Most of that area is pretty thick with businesses.

Did that happen right behind Taco Bell? Was it at a residence, or a business?
