Three jail escapees who walked away from a work-release program in North Alabama were apprehended in Baldwin County this morning.Sheriff's deputies took two of the men into custody around midnight. The last trustee was arrested in the Stockton community near Highway 225 and County Road 23 just after 11:00 a.m.
Deputies say the men were trustees at a work release center in Elmore County and possibly hitched a ride to Baldwin County.
