A grisly discovery in Escambia County Florida. A body is found in a shallow grave off Blue Angel Parkway. Now the question is who is it and how did they get there?
Down a path that seems to lead to no where, police make a gruesome discovery.
"It was a body. The body had not been there that long," according to sheriff's spokesman Glenn Austin. "It was about eleven hundred feet from the main road and it took four or five crime scene specialist about four or five hours out there to unearth the body."
"I guess it happens everywhere." Betty Jo Russell didn't know what was going on next to her property. "They didn't tell me what they were looking for they were just there," she says.
But soon news of crime scene specialists, medical examiners and sheriff's investigators spread through the neighborhood. "I think it's pretty surprising. I never thought of somebody being dropped out here," says 13 year old Jacob Kropf.
After hours of digging a body is discovered and now the focus shifts from the crime scene to a possible suspect according to Austin. "Somebody had taken this person dug a hole in the ground put the person in it and covered it up. This was not a grave in the common sense this was somebody just trying to hide a body."
Once th body is removed investigators aren't far behind. Now they wait to find out who was buried out here and why.

A tip lead crime scene investigators to a grisly discovery in Escambia County Florida.
