The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who punched an elderly outside the Home Depot store in Pace. On Friday, they released surveillance video of a possible witness. The punch happened June 14.
Burdette Miller told sheriff's deputies he was hit by a man who claimed Miller hit his car.
Miller says that never happened.
The victim says he had just dropped off his wife at the store and was looking for a parking place in the middle of a thunderstorm.
Miller says after he got out of his car, a man approached him. The man started yelling and then punched him.
So far, the man has not been found.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office hopes security video of a possible witness may be able to help them. They released this video of a 2008 white Chevy Impala. The driver of the car dropped off a woman and then picked her up again.
The woman was carrying a red purse.
Investigators believe these two people may have witnessed the attack, or have information that can help in the case.
