They have to be started early to be a really top notch bloodhound. My daughter has her now and she is big. I’m trying to talk her into breeding her so Princess could have a least one litter before she is spayed. I looked her up on the Internet and she was there, with her blood line. At that time I think she was valued at $1800 but a trained bloodhound would probably be worth it’s weight in gold to search and rescue teams and law enforcement and that’s what I wanted her for. I couldn’t afford to buy one but I might end up with one before it’s all over and decide i could afford to feed it. If I get an offer of another one that’s registered and young I’ll keep you in mind if you would like, I’m talking a freebie because I don’t believe in buying or selling dogs. He looks so...happy...so, full of joy. I guess his stimulus check didn’t go as far as he needed it to...so he decided to “suplement” his income. He will probably be out in a week...serving us hamburgers...yummy.

carl , i always loved bloodhounds, a policeman once said they will follow a scent until they drop. i had a fila brasillero they have bloodhound in them along with mastiff, portugese waterdog and bulldog. they are very good tracking dogs they use them a lot in south america. the only problem is when they find the person they want to eat them. my boy weighed 240 lbs they only live until around eight they will steal your heart and then they are gone takes years to get over the loss.

what kind of dogs were they using for k9’s? were they beagles? i am glad they caught the burglar, but darn at least send a german shepherd along with those little dogs for protection. the police did a great job, but now i will worry about the dogs. beagles are so loving, they are no match for some idiot on the run from the law.
