The preliminary autopsy report indicates the man who shot and killed Okaloosa County Deputy Tony Forgione committed suicide.According to the medical examiner for Okaloosa County, Mark Rohlman was shot in the right elbow and left thigh by members of the Sheriff Office's Special Response Team. But neither of those shots were fatal. Rohlman died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head.
Rohlman shot Forgione Tuesday during a standoff in Fort Walton Beach. Forgione and the rest of the Special Response Team stormed the house when Rohlman refused to come out.Forgione's funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Niceville.
