LOS ANGELES (AP) - Music producer Phil Spector will find out his
sentence today. He was convicted of shooting and killing actress
Lana Clarkson at his home outside Los Angeles in 2003. The murder
conviction has a mandatory sentence of 15 years to life. He may get
additional time in prison based on a gun charge. Spector's lawyers
also plan to appeal his conviction. Spector was famous for his
"Wall of Sound" production on songs by The Ronettes, The

A couple of years of hard labor in prison would do the guy in a lot faster than 20 years of appeals from death row.

The jury should give him something extra just for looking like that!  Holy Moly!

he’s got to be as old as john ed thompson, he cant have too uch time left anyway

I always felt bad for that woman.  She went off with this creep in a chauffeured limousine, because she thought he might do her career some good.  She ends up dead, because the guy is a raving lunatic that can’t deal with rejection.

Life in prison with the general population might be better than the death penalty in this case.
