Kindergarten Teacher Arrested

Connecticut Bridgeport Police say a kindergarten teacher forced a 5-year-old boy to eat his
lunch from a garbage can.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut kindergarten teacher has
been arrested for allegedly forcing a 5-year-old boy to eat his
lunch from a garbage can.
Sixty-seven-year-old Anne O'Donnell of Fairfield was arrested
yesterday on a charge of risk of injury to a minor.
School officials say the charge stems from an incident last week
when the boy apparently tossed out his lunch of chicken nuggets and
a banana from the school cafeteria.
The teacher is accused of retrieving the items from the garbage
can and forcing the boy to eat them in front of her.
O'Donnell has been released on a promise to appear in court.

No you have not done your job,you have to teach the children not to be wasetfull,if hes not hungry he can offer it another child,I have 8 children 4 boys and 4 girls and they wont waste food.

my granny would have been in jail so manny times. you ate every thing. old school at the school house. would have been another charge for the switch i had to pick for the whoopin i got for chunkin good food in the can. put that teacher in jail, those rotten little kids will be in jail with her soon as they get older.

Yea, don’t let the teacher see you throw away food. Because if the parents don’t make him eat like the teacher does, she is spinning her wheels.

Either way, I dont think the teachers should have the right to make my child eat out of the garbage, no food/snacks the rest of the day fine. But to humiliate the child in this manner is wrong.

It might have been a little heavy handed to make the child eat the lunch after being in the garbage but if it were me as the teacher,the child wouldn’t have gotten any thing else the rest of the day to eat.I’m willing to bet there would be at least 10 million other kids in the world that would have loved to eat it AFTER being in the garbage.PARENTING,PARENTING,PARENTING!
