34-year-old Mitchell Hooks was arrested earlier this month at the Barnes & Noble in Spanish Fort. The U.S. Attorney's Office says Hooks had chatted online with an undercover Saraland Police Officer using the name Superfreak2096. They say he asked the officer, who was posing as a 13-year-old girl, for sex and then agreed to meet at the book store. When Hooks got there, Saraland Police were waiting with handcuffs.
Monday, a Federal Grand Jury indicted Hooks on two counts; traveling with intent to engage in a sexual act with a juvenile and enticement.
