GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Anthony Darrell Thomas has been sentenced
to life in prison for the 2003 beating death of a 32-year-old
Gulfport man.
Thomas was convicted Wednesday in Harrison County Circuit Court
for the murder of Adrian Terrell Robinson.
Authorities say Robinson was beaten with an oak table leg during
an argument on April 24, 2003. His body was found three days later
in the woods along a Gulfport street. Robinson died of his injuries
in less than three months.
