MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Police say a Mobile man is now charged withShort URL: http://wkrg.com/a/20074/
murder in connection with a roadway wreck that killed a motorcycle
rider.
Authorities allege 63-year-old Leon Joseph Smith was under the
influence of alcohol when he collided into 20-year-old Christopher
Gerald Willis of Irvington.
The crash occurred Sept. 27 on Hillcrest Road.
Smith had been charged with DUI, but the charges were upgraded
Thursday.
Police said Smith was re-arrested at his home.

Drunk Driver Kills Pedestrian













dont worried the courts will dissmiss all charges only thing he has to do is have a family member committ him into a mental ward. this is what happen to me . i was hit by michael routh and he was drunk. he done $5800 worth of damage to my car and plus all the medical and time i was off from my job. his family committ him into a mental ward just a week or two before court and judge widdon done a null and process because he could attend court and what i understand he is out and free. where is the justice in that. know he is free to do it again. and not to mention he didnot have any insurance.
