The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office says a Milton grandmother wanted for selling prescription drugs turned herself in Monday.Deputies announced Friday that they were looking for 58-year-old Betsy Allen. They say she sold prescription drugs to undercover officers on three separate occasions.
The Sheriff's Office searched her home July 30th and found suitcases full of prescription pills. They also found prescription medication inside a safe, along with 29 guns, two of which are believed to be stolen.
Allen's husband, 64-year-old William, turned himself into the Escambia County Sheriff's Office in Pensacola. He was wanted on similar charges because of the pills found in the safe.
The couple's granddaughter, 23-year-old Julia Brake, was also arrested Monday. Deputies say she sold Hydrocodone and Xanax to undercover officers earlier this year.
The family's alleged crime spree does not end with the pills. Deputies believe William Allen is illegally running a pawn shop out of his home. Anyone who may have sold or purchased items from Allen is asked to call the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office at 850.983.1213.
