&& one more thing. i would have told mobile county police to kiss my *** to honestly becuz i mean i know that jacob said that before this but they did arrest him at his OWN BROTHERS funeral. atleast he expressed his feelings. and we were all gonna go to the wreck site after the funeral and jacob was gonna explain to every one how it happened and as we all were leaving.. the police stopped the car and told him to get the hell out. like the police wouldnt have known where he was in two or three more days, considering the fact that he was even gonna turn him self in! the police discutst me! well atleast mobiles police.

i dont want to argue with anyone on here cause i know them and i know what went on. but has anyone ever thought of it like this.. what if blake was the one tellin him to go!? yeah thats what i thought. i still can’t beleive i am sitting here doing this :( its so weird how someone can be gone so quick oh and to the ones who were sayin he dosent care about the police and he got what ghe deserved.. man yall discust me. the reason why he dont care bout the police is cause he wants his brother back he said if he could trade places with him that he would! & if you just thought one of your friends and brothers in a tradgedy like this would you care about the police either!? okay yeah sure he was the one driving the car. but teenagers are gonna do some things in life that they wish they wouldnt have done as they grow older but .. it was just one stupid choice and it had to end like this ..i know that the cops wherre just doing there job but i do think that they should stop after a certain point when it gets bad enough..  especially in this case when that wasnt even the stolen car that they were looking for!

no it was jacobs fault. i am sure he does feel bad his brother died and the other boy. i feel sorry for those boys and the family, but jacob is the cause.

i am a good friend of jacobs and blakes and i recently meet richard. i am praying for u jacob.. i know u know that deep down in your heart it was not your fault and its all gonna be okay all your friednds knows in wasnt your fault .. jacob should not be charged with this he already has to liove with this in his head for years to come think if this was your family?put ur self in there shoes.i lovve you jacob and blake we will meet you in heaven

Not much is being reported about Richard Hamilton, or his mother. So, without more information I dare not speculate; whereas the media is putting all of the focus on Mr. Cartee. He was the one driving, not Richard Hamilton’s mother. 

I’ve never said that he wasn’t wrong for his actions. I’ve not said that he shouldn’t be held accountable. All I’ve tried to convey is the fact that this kid will have to live with the knowledge that he’s the reason his friend & brother are dead. I refer to him as a kid, because he apparently lacks the maturity & responsibility to be called a young man. He made a horrible, tragic mistake. He’ll have to endure that night replaying in his minds eye for years to come. There’s no need for so much viciousness toward him.

For what reason was he scared by the blue lights? Was he doing something wrong? Did he know he was driving a car that had been reported stolen? If he was doing something wrong then he is still responsible for putting himself and the others in that position and therefore is responsible for the outcome. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time!

At 17, his brother had a choice, too & he chose to get into that car, all of those boys did. You can’t lay all the blame on just 1.

his brother did not get in there knowing there would be a high speed chase. his brother did not have the choice to stop for the police. his brother and the other people did not get in that car to die. “the blue lights scared him” yeah right.

I have a right to my opinion and I also have a right to express it on here as long as I abide by the terms and conditions and not poke too much fun at the liberals. I read an article somewhere on here that said he was arrested after the funeral on his way home. Either way, if he is charged with a crime then he can be arrested anywhere. My apologies if I can’t keep current with the information. I am in Iraq with a bunch of 18 and 19 year old young men.
