It happened at a home on County Road 19 outside the community of Owassa at about 7 pm Saturday night. Sheriff Edwin Booker says his deputies found the victims outside a trailer. These pictures are courtesy of the Evergreen Courant, the newspaper that covers the area.

People close to the shooting victims told me they were a man and woman from the Appleton area, near Brewton. Authorities have not released their names, but believe some sort of domestic dispute escalated into gunfire. Officials aren't speculating on what the people were fighting about, but they continue to interview the shooter and other witnesses. No charges have been filed against the shooter at this time.
