I do not wish to ignore you and I am glad that you are searching the scriptures for answers. But answer me this, where in all my replying here have I said that you have a plank in your eye? I thought that we were commenting on the topic of the story here and that being “The devil made me do it”. I replied that it was the fallen state of man, hence the “Sin Nature” that along with the temptations of the devil that we succumb to. You no doubt have been offened by anyone asserting that there is spiritual wickedness at work in this world in which we live. You told me to go read the scriptures and “Then shut up”. I do and will continue to pray for and maintain my claim that the above scriptures do not fit our conversation. However that is what the Bible says and if I were to judge you then that would be true. Jesus also said that we would know the tree by the fruit it bears. Me stating your lack of self denial and unbelief is not judging but evidence of the fruit that you bear

It is very typical for someone such as yourself to go to the Bible and quote scripture out of context as you have here to try and justify your own lack of self denial and unbelief.

As for this message board, I do not think that you own it and can set the rules for posting. I am within the terms and conditions of use. Though it is very apperant that you are, as that was hateful!. I am intitled just as you to post a reply that falls within those terms and if you don’t like what you read that others think or believe then I suggest you not responding to their post.

Everything that I said points to a believers “Free Will” of choice. Thats correct, but I wouldn’t word it with satan’s “orders”, as satan can’t order a believer or non believer for that matter to do or choose any action or path to follow. Satan and all his evil works of darkness can only have an influence and place temptations before the believer. I say believer because for a non believer they already follow satan.

What happened to the Christian idea of “free will”?

If God allows you to CHOSE to follow him, doesn’t that mean you have a CHOICE in following Satan’s orders?

the “sin nature” of fallen man is the cause. though satan does have an major influence in our temptations but it is a believers yeilding to those temptations that results in the act of the sin itself. satan did not force her to rebel against God as she made the choice to yeild her members to unrightouesness instead of rightouesness. we all are on a daily basis put to those two choices. choose ye this day whom you’ll serve and let it be God. deny yourself and take your cross daily and follow me Jesus said. if the believer would place their faith in the finished work of the cross and deny themselves then there is life and more abundantly.

What about a little personal responsibility?  Seems everyone places blame on everything and everyone but themselves when they should just admit they messed up and ask for forgiveness and accept their penalty.
