- One state probation officer was shot. The second sustained injuries to his hand during a struggle with Foehl. Both were transported to USA Medical Center.

Mobile police are investigating a deadly shootout on Montauk Avenue in the middle of a Midtown neighborhood.
According to police, two probation officers were trying to arrest a suspect. The suspect took off. The chase turned into a shootout behind the Bay Haas building.
The suspect was killed. One of the probation officers was shot. Both of the officers have been taken to the hospital. Police are not releasing any names or conditions at this hour.
