Last year, the Child Advocacy Center in Mobile saw more than 900 child abuse cases....some of them were repeat victims.
"I think more physical abuse takes place now, emotional abuse and neglect. Parents are under stress. They don't have good parenting skills," said Child Advocacy Center Executive Director Pat Guyton.
Officials say alcohol and substance abuse is also a big contributing factor for physical and sexual abuse.
The FBI says for every child abuse case that is reported, ten cases go unreported.
