Today a judge denied a change of venue request for Patrick Ballard. He is charged with killing Art Clemmons and Bill Imle last year as they road their bicycles near Stapleton. His attorney argued extensive media coverage as the reason for the request. The D.A.'s office said the request was premature. Ballard will stand trial as an adult.
